Ok guys so believe it or not it’s almost the end of 2017. I say this every year, but time goes by so quickly and this year has absolutely flown. It’s now December and I’m a bit of Christmas crazy person so my mind is on this glorious time of the year from mid November onwards.
I thought I’d put together a little stocking filler list for you and your fitness obsessed loved ones to browse through, with a larger gift list to here!
1. Wireless Earphones/Headphones
Everyone who does some form of fitness will tell you how useful it can be to workout with music. Whether it’s home workouts, outdoor running or going to the gym, music is a huge motivator for the majority of people.
But wires are not. They get in the way, they get tangled and often there’s nowhere to keep your phone/iPod whilst you’re working out. Wireless earphones take away this pain and make exercising much easier!
2. Smart Shaker/Water Bottle
A smart shaker has two compartments for supplements and protein, as well as a built in mixer to easily make protein shakes.
Even simpler than that, a nice water bottle is essential for any fitness fanatic. Most gyms won’t provide plastic cups for their water machines due to health and safety so a bottle is critical.
3. Protein Bars/Snacks
Chocolate is a traditional stocking filler, but why not pop in some protein bars and snacks instead? If you aren’t sure what to get, companies such as Low Carb Loot do great supplement boxes that contain a variety of products, ideal to use as stocking fillers!
You can also get sample sachets of different supplements and protein powders which are perfect sizes for stockings.
4. Fruit & Nuts
Nuts are a great source of protein and there are a great variety around at Christmas time. Buy a nut cracker and a selection of shelled nuts or some fruit to keep your fitness fanatics snack happy.
5. Protein Chocolate
Yep. You read that right. There are now lots of companies who make a healthier version of traditional chocolate, such asΒ Cocoa+. They have their own range of Christmas selection boxes, small stocking filler chocolates and chocolate bars. Perfect for those health nuts craving chocolate and counting their calorie intake!
6. Gym Gloves
Gym gloves are essential for any weight lifter wanting to avoid calluses on their hands. You can get a variety of materials from traditional leather to high end versions with gel supports.
7. Resistance Bands
Resistance bands are a perfect way to build muscle without using weights and are an ideal way to warm-up before any exercise. You can buy multi-packs of bands with varying strengths and thicknesses from places such as Amazon or eBay.
8. Socks
No one can ever have enough socks, particularly exercise fans! You can buy multi-packs from just about anywhere and everywhere. If you are buying some for a runner I’d recommend getting them padded socks to help save their feet!
9. Fitness Magazine
There are a variety of fitness magazines on the market that can be a great source of inspiration and motivation. Whether it’s just one copy or a subscription, these are perfect for fitness lovers.
10. Dry Shampoo/Hair Bands
If your recipient is female I can almost guarantee she goes through dry shampoo like there’s no tomorrow. And it never hurts to have a pack of hairbands in your gym bag, I’m forever losing mine!
I hope you’ve found some useful items on this list, if you have found more let me know. I’m always looking for inspiration too!
